One of my pet hates is receiving e-mails from well-meaning people
warning me of non-existant threats to my computer's health.
These are often deliberate hoaxes which many recipients pass on
without checking their veracity.
Here's a table showing the ten most common hoaxes around at the moment. The
list is provided by Sophos and is automatically updated with the latest
information.
Take the trouble to acquaint yourself with these and don't be fooled
into forwarding them. Your friends will thank you for it!
You can visit the Sophos Anti-Virus
web site to learn about real viruses and threats.
